Josh Weller is a musician/producer originally from South Dorset but currently living in Leeds. Although he specialises in live synthesis and sound design he is also an accomplished pianist, saxophonist and guitarist. He plays with two main bands at the moment:
I Call Shotgun
A 4-piece Electro/Indie band based in Leeds. They are renowned for their energetic live performances and their charismatic front man. They are presently gaining a good reputation all over the country and also have a following in America following celebrity blogger Perez Hilton’s enthusiasm for their cover of Nelly’s ‘Ride With Me’. They have been given many great reviews from various sources and have even been described as “awesome” by Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw. The lineup of the band includes:

TrueCore
A semi-live dubstep group from Leeds consisting of live mixing, live saxophone, live keyboards and occasional live vocals. The live instruments help give them an organic sound to their dubstep that is well suited to be synchronised with film and tv but also has the energy to be able to put on a great live performance. Although they are a relatively new group, they have an increasingly impressive repertoire and they will be releasing multiple live mixtapes on the internet of their sets until the album is ready. The lineup of the band includes:

Josh has also worked with various groups in the past, most notably with ex-fame academy star Alistair Griffin. Josh played keyboards and saxophone in his group and gigged with him in various places around the country. Due to his other commitments, Josh left the band in early 2009 but did house remixes of a couple of Alistair’s tracks which can soon be heard on this website.
