Biography
Josh Weller grew up in a small village called Corfe Castle in Dorset. Josh was interested in music from an early age, learning to play the piano, saxophone and guitar. In his late teens he would play gigs around the pub circuit in Dorset, playing his own versions of cover songs, and using a loop machine so that he could back himself and involve all of his instruments in his performances.
Josh was awarded a Music Scholarship to Bryanston School where he did his A-levels. After this Josh went to the Leeds College of Music to gain his degree in Popular Music. He made many friends there, and they made lots of music together. It was also where I Call Shotgun and TrueCore were formed. Josh now lives in Leeds contributing to the vast music scene there with his current bands.
Over the years Josh's taste in music changed many times, with him always trying to be more progressive than before. His interest in electronic music grew and so did his interest in synthesis and music production. He now uses his knowledge and experience from main stream music and the underground scene to introduce cutting edge ideas into the music he plays, writes and produces.
